This project began as a formal exploration through a series of modifications to an 8-inch cardboard cube. The resulting iteration was then scaled up and translated into a real-world architectural application. The selected site is a proposed train stop located in Meads Quarry in Knoxville, Tennessee, situated along an existing but abandoned rail line. Within this scenario, the rail line is reimagined as a renewed light rail system transporting passengers across the city. Because the project is centered on movement and travel, the station is conceived as both an infrastructure node and a destination in itself, offering travelers an immersive experience framed by the natural landscape of Meads Quarry.
